Design of a brand image
Design of logo and stationery for Alzato, a subsidiary of Ericsson which offers an innovative database management system to several market segments such as media, financial and telecom industry. The logo conveys an overall feeling of speed, dynamism and balance by intersecting the alphabet ‘a’ onto an angled square. The 45 degree blue square utilized in the logo symbolizes Alzato’s network database while the complex interweaving of the alphabet symbolizes the quick calculations happening within the database. The parts of the alphabet that extend outside the square symbolizes the innovative thinking of Alzato that is ‘outside of the box’. A typography in lowercase is utilized to convey a sense of modernity and openness towards innovation.
Awards & Recognition
The logo won a design award from the United States and is featured in the Creativity Annual 33 publication, a professional reference sample book showcasing the best examples of graphic design from around the world.
